Carnival Cruise Line has announced new benefits for guests who decide to enjoy a speciality dining reservation on the first or second night of their cruise.

From September, anyone who visits select speciality dining venues on the first night of the cruise (embarkation day) will be entitled to a free bottle of house wine per two people.
A similar benefit has previously been offered by the cruise line, but only one bottle per dining party and only in the steakhouse. The new offer replaces this, and allows every two guests to enjoy a free bottle, whilst expanding the list of restaurants.
Now, guests who dine at the steakhouse, Rudi’s Seagrill, Il Viaggio, JiJi Asian Kitchen, or Cucina del Capitano can get the reward.
The only exception to this is on the Excel-class ships Mardi Gras, Carnival Celebration and Carnival Jubilee, where the offer won’t be available in Cucina del Capitano. But it will still be available in the other named restaurants.
If guests are not happy with the house wine that is offered, they can instead claim a 50% discount on any other bottle of wine under $100 in those restaurants.
This is a one-time offer, and guests can’t enjoy the free house wine and then claim the discount. This offer is also only valid in the steakhouse, Rudi’s Seagrill and Il Viaggio.
However, in an extra bit of good news, the same discount offer also applies to the second night of cruises – 50% off wines up to $100 in the steakhouse, Rudi’s Seagrill and Il Viaggio.
So guests who can’t get a reservation on embarkation day, or who prefer to wait until the formal night for their speciality dining visit, can still take advantage.
