If you’re looking for a family river cruise, then CroisiEurope has some great deals with free places for children aged 16 and under.
Europe’s largest river cruise operator, CroisiEurope, has a summer Family Club programme with free child places that will make a river cruise an affordable option for your summer holiday this year.
These cruises also featured exciting and child-friendly excursions on the Douro, Guadalquivir and Rhine.
The summer Family Club programme is available on the following itineraries:
5- and 7-Night River Cruises from Porto
These Douro cruises call at Regua, Pinhao, Vega de Terron, Barca D’Alva, Senhora Da Ribeira and Ferradosa. Child-friendly excursions include a tour of Porto by tram plus a visit to the Tramway Museum and a splash around in the swimming pool in Salamanca.
Five-night cruises cost from £1,097 per adult, with kids cruising free.
Seven-night cruises cost from £1,225 per adult, with kids cruising free.
5-Night River Cruises from Strasbourg
Rhine river cruises from Strasbourg will include calls at Rüdesheim, Koblenz, Mainz and the Black Forest. Child-friendly excursions include a boat tour of Strasbourg by night, a tour of local vineyards on a tourist train, visits to Siegfried’s Mechanical Music Cabinet Museum in Rüdesheim, the Gutenberg Museum in Mainz and a Treetop walk in the Black Forest.
These CroisiEurope cruises cost from £895 per person, and kids cruise free.
7-Night River Cruises from Dubrovnik
If you want something a little different from the typical CroisiEurope cruise deals, then why not choose this more coastal option, which includes visits to Mljet, Korcula, Sibenik, Trogir, Split, Vis, Hvar, and Kotor. The scenery here is absolutely stunning.
These cruises cost from £1804 per person, and, yes, kids cruise free.
Things to Know About CroisiEurope with Kids
The free child places offer doesn’t include excursions, you’ll have to pay for these separately. You’re also limited to two children per fare-paying adult.
CroisiEurope is the only river cruise line in Europe with no minimum age to sail, so kids of all ages are welcome on board, even babies.
Regarding accommodation, one child can share a room with two adults. Otherwise, kids aged five and over can stay in the cabin next door. Of course, if you take this option then a room with windows, rather than a French balcony is recommended.
CroisiEurope is a great choice for single parents too, as the single supplement is waived when travelling with children.
