Royal Caribbean has announced that it is planning to open a new Royal Beach Club in Cozumel, due to open to cruise guests in 2026.

The beach club will be the third for the cruise line, with two more due to open in the next two years – the first in Nassau set for sometime in 2025.
Cozumel is already a popular destination for Royal Caribbean cruises – there are several itineraries that visit the destination. The addition of the new Royal Beach Club will give guests even more exciting options for how to spend their time in port.
Cozumel is an incredible destination, and the beach club will perfectly complement all the island has to offer as an experience that combines familiar Royal Caribbean touches with the spirit of Mexico, alongside amenities and activities for every type of vacationer.
Michael Bayley, president and CEO of Royal Caribbean International
Not a lot of detail is known about the new Royal Beach Club yet, although it will be exclusive for guests of the cruise line.
It will feature a restaurant and bar serving food and drinks inspired by local Mexican flavours, and will likely have separate areas for families and for adults who want a more relaxed experience.
Royal Caribbean already has several exciting exclusive destinations for guests, including private resorts Perfect Day at CocoCay and Labadee, although the latter is currently closed to guests due to unrest in Haiti.
The Royal Beach Clubs will be different because they are just one option for guests – anyone visiting Cozumel on a Royal Caribbean cruise may prefer to enjoy the shops, bars and sights of Cozumel without paying for access to the Beach Club.
