P&O Cruises has announced its flight partners for the 2024/25 Caribbean winter season, with the big news being that Maleth Aero has been dropped, and TUI Airways retained.

As well as continuing its partnership with TUI for flights, Norse Atlantic and Virgin Atlantic are also joining the lineup, operating some flights for Caribbean cruises.
The cruise line has promised that guests will receive a consistent and dedicated in-flight service regardless of the cruise line, meaning that anyone flying specifically for a cruise will enjoy select benefits.
These include the chance to bypass immigration in the airport, and have an automatic luggage forwarding service – once bags are dropped off at the UK airport, they will be taken to the ship without customers needing to claim them on landing.
And then on the return journey, customers need only leave their suitcases outside their cabin on the last night of the cruise, and then collect them upon landing back in the UK.
The news that Maleth Aero has been dropped will please many P&O Cruises customers, with a series of issues during the last season including major delays.
Customers were also unhappy that they were able to book more premium seat options as part of their cruise package, only to find that Maleth did not accommodate those, and that the airline did not offer any in-flight entertainment.
There is even a Facebook group set up for customers who were let down by Maleth Aero on their P&O cruise package.
