Carnival will soon be offering vegan menu options in the main dining room on ships across the fleet. The vegan options will be available for breakfast, brunch, and dinner.

While the cruise line has had vegetarian options in the main dining rooms for some time, it has drawn criticism from guests for not offering plant-based options, and it has put some vegans off cruising with Carnival altogether.
However, John Heald, the Brand Ambassador for the cruise line, announced via his Facebook page that the new vegan options would be added to the menus “soon”, although no further information has been revealed yet on a planned roll-out.
The announcement comes just as brand new menus are already being introduced on Carnival Dream, with the intent to then bring these new menus onto the rest of the fleet by the end of 2023.
Those new menus had already drawn criticism for their lack of vegan options and also for their limited vegetarian dishes, including salads that all include some form of meat or fish.
The new vegan dishes should go some way to rectify these issues, and hopefully, the menu launches soon so that vegans and vegetarians have more options to enjoy during their Carnival cruise.
