Oceania Cruises, the premium cruise line, has taken delivery of its newest ship, Vista, and has announced the leadership team that will be guiding the vessel through its inaugural season.
Vista, which is the seventh ship in Oceania’s fleet, was built at the Fincantieri shipyard in Genoa, Italy. The vessel boasts some incredible staterooms and suites – enough to sleep 1,200 guests – and they feature luxurious amenities such as king-sized beds, private verandas, and marble-clad bathrooms.
One of the key features of Vista is its culinary offerings. The ship features 11 dining venues, including the new American cuisine venue Ember, and the popular Polo Grill steakhouse. Guests can also enjoy a cooking school at sea, called The Culinary Center, which offers hands-on cooking classes taught by master chefs.
In addition to its culinary offerings, Vista offers a range of onboard activities and amenities. Guests can relax at the ship’s Aquamar SpaClub, take a dip in the pool, or attend a lecture or enrichment program at the ship’s theater.

Leading the team that will be guiding Vista through its inaugural season is Captain Luca Manzi. Joining Captain Manzi on the leadership team are General Manager Dominique Nicolle, Staff Captain Edgardo Cossu, and Cruise Director Paul Baya. All three have extensive experience in the cruise industry and are committed to providing guests with an unforgettable experience onboard Vista.

Vista will be christened on 8th May 2023 at Valletta, in a ceremony involving her godmother Giada De Laurentiis, the Italian-American chef, author and Emmy Award-winning food personality. Following a summer in the Med, she will visit Canada and New England before offering winter cruises around the Caribbean, Mexico and Central America.
