Royal Caribbean has released details of the Europe cruises that will be available for 2026, with five ships and five departure ports for guests to choose from.

Of note to British cruise fans, Liberty of the Seas will make her Southampton debut for the season.
Liberty of the Seas is the sister ship of Independence of the Seas, the ship that’s cruising from Southampton in the summer of 2025 and that did so for several years previously.
Harmony of the Seas will be the Oasis-class ship that sails in the region, offering 7-night cruises from Barcelona.
Meanwhile guests who would rather board in Rome will get the chance to enjoy sailings on the Odyssey of the Seas. This Quantum-class ship is packed with exciting features, and she’ll offer a mix of 7- and 9-night cruises to ports in Italy, Greece, and Turkey.
The smaller ship Explorer of the Seas will offer cruises from Ravenna, the new port for Venice. The 7-night and 14-night cruises will explore the Adriatic Sea and other ports in the Eastern Mediterranean.
And finally, Brilliance of the Seas (a Radiance-class ship) will sail from several departure ports including Athens, Rome, Ravenna, and Barcelona.
The European deployment for 2026 includes one fewer ship than in 2025, where six Royal Caribbean ships will be sailing in the region.
But guests will still be able to book a cruise on one of the largest ships in the fleet with Harmony of the Seas, or the modern Odyssey of the Seas.
Whether Europe will ever get an Icon-class ship – the biggest in the world – will have to remain TBC for at least another year.
Europe 2026 is now on sale.
