Carnival Cruise Line has introduced four new packages combining drinks, WiFi, specialty dining and other onboard extras, offering passengers potential savings of up to 55% on cruises departing through the end of 2027.

This image shows three bottles of liquor displayed on a bar counter aboard a Carnival Cruise ship. The bottles include Campari, Amaro Nonino, and Amaro Montenegro, each accompanied by a small glass of the corresponding drink in front of them. The background features a well-lit bar area with a variety of other bottles on shelves, and a sign that reads "AMARI." The setup highlights the selection of Italian liqueurs available on the cruise.

The new Carnival FunPacks went on sale on 13th October 2026 and are available to purchase until 30th October 2026. They cover eligible sailings departing between 31st October 2026 and 31st December 2027.

Prices start at $25 per person, per day for children, rising to $99 for the most comprehensive adult package. Each option includes a beverage package and internet access, with additional benefits varying according to the price.

However, the packages come with several conditions that could affect their overall value, including restrictions on who must purchase them, deadlines for booking included experiences and the loss of unused benefits.

Carnival says its new bundles are designed to simplify the process of purchasing popular cruise extras before departure.

“We’re excited to launch FunPacks, our largest collection of packages to date, making it easier for guests to bundle the experiences they enjoy the most and save money,” said Christine Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Line.

Four New Packages With Different Benefits

Carnival has divided its new offering into four categories: Kidstarter, Zero Proof, Social and Epic.

The cheapest is the Kidstarter FunPack, available exclusively to passengers aged three to 17 for $25 per person, per day.

A group of joyful children racing towards the Waterworks aqua park on the deck of a Carnival Cruise ship, with clear blue skies above and the expansive ocean in the backdrop, highlighting the thrill and excitement of cruise ship activities for kids.

It includes the Bottomless Bubbles unlimited soda and juice package, a souvenir cup and Social WiFi access. Children also receive 1,000 arcade tokens, a complimentary lanyard and a 50% discount on participating bulk candy purchases at Cherry on Top.

Carnival advertises potential savings of up to 50% with this package.

The Zero Proof FunPack costs $50 per person, per day and is available to passengers aged three and older.

It includes the CHEERS! Zero Proof drinks package, which provides unlimited eligible non-alcoholic beverages, including premium coffees, bottled water, smoothies, milkshakes and energy drinks.

Certain beverages, including alcohol-free beer, zero-proof cocktails and non-alcoholic sparkling wine, remain restricted to passengers aged 21 and older.

Value WiFi is included, along with a $50 discount towards an eligible shore excursion and a $25 specialty dining discount. Carnival advertises savings of up to 35%.

For adults who want alcoholic drinks without purchasing the full CHEERS! package, the Social FunPack offers another option.

Priced at $60 per person, per day, it introduces CHEERS! Social, a beverage package available exclusively through the new bundle.

Passengers receive unlimited eligible non-alcoholic drinks and three alcoholic beverages per day, each valued at up to $20.

Once those three included drinks have been used, additional alcoholic beverages can be purchased at regular prices, subject to Carnival’s overall limit of 15 alcoholic drinks per day.

The Social FunPack also includes Premium WiFi, one eligible shore excursion worth up to $100 and one specialty dining experience worth up to $55.

Additional benefits include 50% off eligible spa treatments and Dreams Studio photography packages purchased before departure.

Carnival advertises potential savings of up to 50% with this option.

At $99 per person, per day, the Epic FunPack is the most expensive of the four packages.

It includes the full CHEERS! beverage package, providing up to 15 eligible alcoholic drinks per day, each valued at up to $20, alongside unlimited eligible non-alcoholic beverages.

Carnival WiFi

Passengers also receive Premium WiFi, two eligible shore excursions worth up to $100 each and two specialty dining experiences worth up to $55 each.

The package includes the same 50% discounts on eligible spa treatments and Dreams Studio photography packages as the Social FunPack.

Additional extras comprise one bottle of sparkling wine and one standard bag of wash-and-fold laundry per passenger, per sailing.

Carnival advertises savings of up to 55% for the Epic FunPack, making it the package with the highest stated potential discount.

The cruise line’s published savings comparisons are based on a six-day cruise against the cost of purchasing the included extras separately. Actual savings will depend on the sailing and how much of the package a passenger uses.

Important Restrictions Passengers Should Know

Although the packages offer a range of benefits, Carnival’s terms and conditions contain several restrictions that passengers will need to consider before purchasing.

One of the most significant concerns adults sharing the same cabin.

According to Carnival’s published rules, if one passenger aged 21 or older purchases a FunPack, every other passenger aged 21 or older sharing that stateroom must purchase the same package.

This means a couple cannot ordinarily choose different bundles to suit their individual preferences, or have one adult purchase a FunPack while the other goes without.

For example, two adults sharing a cabin who want the Social FunPack would face a combined cost of $120 per day, equivalent to $840 for a seven-day cruise.

Choosing the Epic FunPack would increase that combined cost to $198 per day, or $1,386 over seven days.

The requirement does not extend to younger passengers, who can purchase an eligible Kidstarter or Zero Proof package independently of the adults in their cabin.

Passengers must also purchase their selected FunPack for the entire duration of their cruise rather than choosing individual days.

Another important restriction concerns the dining, shore excursion, spa and photography benefits.

These must be reserved through Carnival’s My Cruise Manager before departure, with a deadline of three days before sailing.

Passengers who fail to make the required reservations cannot redeem those benefits once on board, and unused allowances are not refundable.

There are also restrictions on which experiences qualify.

Bonsai Teppanyaki and The Chef’s Table are excluded from the specialty dining benefits, while Faster to the Fun cannot be purchased using the shore excursion allowance.

For the Social and Epic FunPacks, included specialty dining experiences must cost no more than $55 each.

Passengers cannot choose a more expensive restaurant experience and pay the difference. If an eligible meal costs less than $55, the remaining value is forfeited.

Shore excursions operate differently, as passengers can select an eligible excursion costing more than the $100 allowance and pay the additional amount themselves.

However, any unused portion of the allowance is lost and cannot be transferred to another booking.

Spa discounts are also limited to qualifying treatments. Exclusions include Thermal Suites, Medi-Spa treatments, Restylane, Dysport and the Blow Out Bundle of 3.

The Epic FunPack’s laundry benefit covers one standard bag of wash-and-fold laundry but excludes dry cleaning, pressing-only services, oversized items and specialty garments.

Passengers considering the Social FunPack should also be aware that its three daily alcoholic drinks cannot be carried over. Any unused drinks are forfeited at the end of each cruise day.

Carnival has confirmed that the beverage and WiFi components are activated automatically, while other benefits must be selected and reserved separately.

Most WiFi plans included with the packages permit only one connected device at a time.

Limited-Time Availability And Refund Rules

The FunPacks are being sold exclusively online through Carnival’s My Cruise Manager and cannot be purchased after boarding.

Although the promotion covers departures through 31st December 2027, passengers must complete their package purchases by 30th October 2026.

The packages are also subject to availability and may not be offered on every sailing.

Carnival has not announced whether it intends to introduce another booking window after the current promotion ends.

The cruise line has confirmed that FunPacks can be cancelled before departure in accordance with its existing pre-cruise purchase cancellation policy.

However, passengers who cancel a package may also lose any dining, excursion, spa or photography reservations made using its benefits.

If they subsequently purchase another package, those experiences will need to be booked again, subject to availability and potentially different prices.

Once passengers have boarded, FunPacks are no longer refundable. Individual unused benefits also have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for a partial refund.

The new packages replace neither existing reservations nor previously purchased Carnival Value Packages automatically. Passengers with an Essentials or Ultimate package can retain their existing purchase or cancel it and select an eligible FunPack, although doing so may affect associated reservations.

There are additional considerations for certain departure ports.

For cruises leaving Galveston, New York and Norfolk, alcoholic beverage benefits in the Social and Epic FunPacks do not begin until 6am on the second day of the sailing.

Carnival says the prices for those packages are adjusted accordingly, with the applicable amount displayed during checkout.

The cruise line also states that FunPack discounts generally cannot be combined with other promotional offers, including certain loyalty, casino and shareholder benefits.

For passengers already planning to purchase drinks, internet access, dining and excursions, the new bundles could offer a more economical alternative to buying those extras individually.

However, the requirement for adults sharing a cabin to purchase matching packages, together with the restrictions on redeeming benefits, means the maximum advertised savings will not necessarily be achievable for every passenger.

Travellers considering the promotion will need to compare the full cost for everyone in their cabin against the extras they would otherwise purchase separately before the 30th October deadline.
