A cruise passenger has celebrated a special milestone after reaching 2,500 nights on Fred. Olsen Cruise Line ships.

Kevin Harrison of Wakefield in West Yorkshire has enjoyed over 100 cruises since he first tried them in 1993, including sailing on every ship in the Fred. Olsen fleet in that time.
His first cruise was booked to celebrate his 45th birthday and ever since then, he has averaged around three cruises a year, visiting destinations all over the world, including most of Europe, large parts of Asia, the US and more.
I was bitten by the travel bug 30 years ago after booking a Fred. Olsen cruise for my 45th birthday on its ship Black Prince and I have never looked back and never even considered booking a holiday with anyone else.

Harrison’s cruises have included ships that no longer sail for Fred. Olsen, and the current fleet. He’s sailed on Black Prince, Black Watch, Braemar, Boudicca, Balmoral, and Borealis, and he has a world cruise booked on Bolette for 2025.
To celebrate him reaching the milestone, the crew of the Borealis (many of whom had sailed with Harrison multiple times already) threw him a surprise party, including an epic cake and ice sculpture.
Harrison also dined at the Captain’s Table and was presented with a video featuring messages from crew across the whole fleet.
Harrison has sailed on 15 world cruises as part of his adventures, with his next on Bolette departing Liverpool on 4th January 2025 for 110 nights.
While the Liverpool departure is no longer available, you can sail on the ship from Southampton if you want to join Harrison as he gets closer to 3,000 nights.
