Cunard Partners With BFI

Cunard Line has announced that it is partnering with the prestigious British Film Institute for the line’s newest ship, Queen Anne.

The partnership between Cunard and the BFI will see a curated list of 10 movies shown on the ship every month, for at least three years.

This will include some of the latest blockbusters – like you’ll often find on a cruise ship – but also carefully selected classics and short films.

The movies will be screened on the giant LED screen in The Pavilion, a glass-domed venue that offers a casual pool spot to hang out during the day, and a sophisticated but still relaxed location to enjoy wine or cocktails in the evening.

In addition to the movies being shown in this multipurpose location, they will also be screened in all guest staterooms, so if you just want to get cosy in bed you can still catch the films.

As part of the deal, Cunard will also become the main sponsor of the BFI London Film Festival in October 2023, along with the 2024 and 2025 film festivals.

The Queen Anne is currently under construction in Italy and is expected to launch on her inaugural sailing in May 2024.
