Ambassador Cruise Line Raises Drinks Package Prices

Ambassador Cruise Line has announced a range of price increases for its drinks packages, starting from 1st September 2023.

The price increases vary depending on the chosen package and the length of the cruise – Ambassador has a more complex pricing structure for its drinks packages depending on the number of nights you’re sailing.

However, the price increases only affect cruises of five nights or more – sailings of two to four nights will retain the same pricing structure.

The move has also seen the addition of a fifth drinks package – previously, the Ambassador Adventurers Package was available to all children, but it has now been split into a package for children aged 0 to 11, and one for children aged 12 to 17.

The Ambassador Experience Package, which includes non-alcoholic beverages, is increasing from £18 per night to £20.95 per night on cruises ranging from 5 to 29 nights.

The Ambassador Explorer Package, which includes house brands of alcoholic drinks, is increasing from £33 to £38.95 per night.

The Ambassador Expedition Package, which includes premium alcoholic drinks along with premium teas and coffees, goes from £38 a night to £44.95 per night.

Meanwhile the kids’ package used to cost £11 per night – it will now cost £13 per night for under 12s, and £16 per night for 12-17 year olds.

And the prices only go into effect for bookings made after 1st September 2023 – guests can book their cruise and package before this date to keep the old lower prices, even if they are sailing after this date.
