Disney Cruise Line has revealed extensive new details about Disney Believe, including the world’s first stage adaptation of Encanto, an original Frozen dining experience and new venues inspired by Zootopia, Moana, Snow White and The Little Mermaid.

The new Wish-class ship is scheduled to depart on its maiden voyage from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale on 18th December 2027. It will operate four- and five-night cruises to the Caribbean and The Bahamas, with itineraries visiting one or both of Disney Cruise Line’s private destinations, Disney Castaway Cay and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.
General bookings for Disney Believe will open on 19th October 2026.
Disney Cruise Line unveiled the new details during a special livestream from aboard Disney Wish on 7th October, expanding considerably on information previously announced about the ship.
Disney Believe will become the fourth Wish-class vessel, following Disney Wish, Disney Treasure and Disney Destiny. It forms part of a wider fleet expansion that Disney says will take Disney Cruise Line to 13 ships by late 2030.
Encanto To Receive Its First Stage Adaptation
One of the biggest announcements concerns the Walt Disney Theatre, where Encanto will make its world stage debut exclusively aboard Disney Believe.

Disney Encanto will adapt the Academy Award-winning animated film for the theatre, following Mirabel as she attempts to save her family and their magical home.
The production will incorporate Colombian cultural influences through its costumes, scenic design and traditional dance styles. Songs by Lin-Manuel Miranda will include “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” and “Surface Pressure”.
Miranda appeared by video during the livestream to announce the production.
Tangled: The Musical will also be part of the theatre line-up. The production previously staged aboard Disney Magic will be reworked for Disney Believe with a redesigned set and special effects exclusive to the new ship.
The third Broadway-style production will be Disney Seas the Adventure, the original Wish-class show bringing together Disney and Pixar characters and songs.

Elsewhere, a new multi-level entertainment venue called Gazelle will take its inspiration from Zootopia.
During the day, Gazelle will offer family activities including games, trivia and character encounters. At night, it will transition to adult-exclusive programming including silent discos and variety acts.

Disney Believe will also become the first Disney Cruise Line ship to feature Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde in their own family show, with guests helping the pair solve a new case.
Other returning entertainment will include Pirate’s Rockin’ Parlay Party, complete with a live rock band and Disney’s fireworks at sea, along with Hero Zone, Disney Uncharted Adventure and the Wonderland and Never Land Cinemas.
A New Frozen Restaurant
Disney Believe will introduce Oaken’s Table: A Frozen Family Feast, a new rotational dining restaurant expanding the Frozen story beyond the events seen on screen.

The experience will be set in a sommerhus courtyard deep in the forest, where Oaken and his family invite guests to dine together. Anna and Kristoff will also feature in the experience.
Music will form a significant part of the dinner, with Oaken’s cousins performing reimagined versions of songs from the Frozen soundtracks.
Two established Wish-class restaurants will complete the ship’s main dining line-up.
1923 will celebrate Disney animation with more than 1,000 drawings, props and animation tools from the Walt Disney Archives, including material connected to Lilo & Stitch, Alice in Wonderland, Toy Story and Peter Pan.
Worlds of Marvel will host Marvel Celebration of Heroes: Groot Remix, featuring Rocket and Groot.

Disney Believe will also receive a revised version of Inside Out: Joyful Sweets. The sweet shop will expand beyond the original Inside Out characters to incorporate Anxiety and Envy from Inside Out 2, alongside Joy and Sadness and a representation of Riley’s Sense of Self.
The menu will include almost 20 flavours of gelato and ice cream, daily handcrafted gelato specials and signature sweets.
Two entirely new cafés will also debut.
Big Hero Sips will be inspired by San Fransokyo from Big Hero 6, while Café Kakamora will draw its design from Moana’s home island of Motunui and take its name from the coconut-like Kakamora characters. Both will serve coffee, tea and speciality beverages.
Mickey and Friends Festival of Foods will return on the upper decks, but Disney Believe will add a new outlet called Pluto’s Pita Platters. The Mediterranean-inspired venue will serve kebabs and pitas accompanied by garnishes and dips.
New Snow White, Little Mermaid And Skygazers Lounges
Several of Disney Believe’s adult venues will be completely new to the fleet.
Sea Notes will be an iridescent piano lounge inspired by Ariel’s grotto from The Little Mermaid. A pearlescent piano designed as one of the treasures from Ariel’s collection will form the centrepiece, with live music accompanied by a menu of cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks.

Wishing Well will take its inspiration from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
Designed as a castle courtyard, the lounge will sit beneath a canopy of white blossoms and red apples. Colours from Snow White’s gown will influence the furnishings, while hand-carved wooden details will reference the Seven Dwarfs’ cottage.

A stained-glass feature will form part of an ornate bar designed to evoke a gothic castle. Wishing Well will host activities and live music throughout cruises alongside cocktails, mocktails, spirits and coffee.
Skygazers will be an observatory-themed pub designed as an astronomer’s laboratory, with bookshelves, astronomical instruments, celestial maps and references to classic Disney stories. It will show live sports and serve craft beers, cocktails and light bites.

The Haunted Mansion Parlor will also return aboard Disney Believe, but with a new menu of cocktails and mocktails created specifically for the ship.

Other returning adult areas include Palo Steakhouse, Enchanté by Chef Arnaud Lallement and The Rose, all within a Beauty and the Beast-inspired premium dining area.
Quiet Cove will provide an adults-only infinity pool, whirlpools, bar and café, while Senses Spa, Sense Fitness, Untangled Salon and Hook’s Barbery will also feature aboard the ship.
Moana Takes Centre Stage
Moana will provide the inspiration for the Grand Hall, Disney Believe’s central gathering space.
A statue of Moana accompanied by Pua and Heihei will anchor the room, while the wider design will draw on the Pacific Islands setting and the sea.

An ocean-coloured carpet will incorporate bioluminescent colours, while the chandelier will be designed to mimic the fluid movement of the sea. The Heart of Te Fiti will be hidden within the chandelier.
The wider ship will follow a theme Disney describes as “promise and possibility”, using characters and stories centred around believing in something greater.
Tinker Bell will feature on the bow of Disney Believe, while previously announced larger-than-life sculptures of Buzz Lightyear and Woody will appear at the stern.
AquaMouse And New Monsters, Inc. Kids’ Club Entrance
The upper decks will retain several features familiar from Disney Believe’s Wish-class sister ships.
Seven pools will be distributed across tiered decks in the Mickey and Friends family district, while the 760-foot AquaMouse water attraction will return.

The attraction will feature Mickey and Minnie Mouse in its “Port Adventures”, including the “Swiss Meltdown” and “Sing a Silly Song” storylines.
Younger children will have access to a Toy Story-themed water area incorporating a splash zone, wading pool, family waterslide and smoothie bar.
Disney’s Oceaneer Club, for children aged three to 10, will retain five main areas: Marvel Super Hero Academy, Fairytale Hall, Star Wars: Cargo Bay, Walt Disney Imagineering Lab and Mickey and Minnie’s Captain’s Deck.
Disney Believe will, however, receive an exclusive Monsters, Inc.-themed entrance.
The entrance will feature the “Caution: 2319” warning from the Pixar film, along with Mike Wazowski and his laugh canister. Children will once again have the option of entering the club via a slide.
It’s a Small World Nursery will cater to children from six months to three years old, while Edge will be available for 11- to 13-year-olds and Vibe for guests aged 14 to 17. The Hideaway will provide an additional hangout space with a dance floor and DJ booth.
Nearly 2,000-Square-Foot Tower Suite
Disney Believe’s accommodation will incorporate artwork inspired by films including Moana, Coco and The Lion King.

Most staterooms will feature Disney Cruise Line’s split-bathroom arrangement, while 70 per cent will have a verandah. More than 450 connecting doors will allow rooms to be combined for larger family groups.
Concierge guests will have access to an Alice in Wonderland-inspired lounge and a private sun deck. Concierge staterooms and suites will draw on Peter Pan, while seven oceanview rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows will feature Toy Story theming.
Four royal suites will be divided between two themes. Royal Reef Suites will take inspiration from The Little Mermaid, using teal, coral pink, shell detailing and pearlescent finishes.
Royal Rose Suites will reference Beauty and the Beast, with design elements associated with Belle and the Beast and a recurring rose motif.
The largest and most distinctive accommodation revealed is the Believe Tower Suite.
Located inside the ship’s forward funnel, the two-storey suite will cover almost 2,000 square feet and accommodate up to eight guests. It will have two main bedrooms, four-and-a-half bathrooms and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the upper decks and horizon.

Unlike the Tower Suites aboard Disney Believe’s sister ships, its theme will centre on Magic Kingdom Park. Individual rooms will represent different themed lands, while the living room will feature lighting inspired by fireworks and balloons alongside artwork depicting Cinderella Castle.
Disney Believe will begin sailing from Port Everglades on 18th December 2027, with four- and five-night itineraries to the Caribbean and The Bahamas. General bookings open on 19th October 2026.
