Disney Cruise Line is gearing up for the launch of Disney Adventure, and fans can look forward to an exciting line-up of immersive experiences when the ship debuts in December 2025 – with new features announced this week.

Sailing year-round from Singapore, Disney Adventure will be the first Disney cruise ship to be permanently based in Asia.
The ship will offer 3- and 4-night cruises with no port stops, ensuring guests have plenty of time to enjoy the ship’s vast array of entertainment, dining, and character experiences.
Among the biggest highlights on board is the debut of the first-ever Marvel Style Studio at sea, an experience that allows both children and adults to transform into their favourite superheroes with Marvel-inspired hair, makeup, and clothing.
When not in use for style makeovers, the venue will transform into an adults-only lounge with curated beverage tastings, adding another layer of versatility to this brand-new concept.
The ship will also feature Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, the signature enchanted salon that offers magical makeovers for children aged 3-12.
Young guests can dress up as their favourite Disney princesses, knights, or even sea captains, complete with hairstyling, costumes, and accessories. Parents can book private photography sessions to capture the moment.
For a touch of royalty, younger cruisers can also take part in the Royal Society for Friendship and Tea, an elegant tea party hosted by Disney princesses.
This interactive experience blends storytelling, music, and sweet treats, all while celebrating values like kindness, bravery, and determination.
Disney’s Iconic Characters Take Centre Stage
Duffy and Friends will take the spotlight aboard Disney Adventure with an all-new stage show, Duffy and The Friend Ship, featuring Tippy Blue and other beloved characters embarking on a heart-warming sea journey.
For those who love a treasure hunt, Duffy and Friends Quest invites guests to explore the ship in search of missing items using a discovery guide, which leads to a special commemorative gift upon completion.
Another first-at-sea production, Captain Jack Sparrow & The Siren Queen, will bring high-energy adventure to life in the Disney Imagination Garden.
Guests are encouraged to dress in their pirate best as they join the hunt for hidden treasure, battling an ink-squirting giant squid along the way.
Beyond the live entertainment, Disney Adventure will feature themed areas inspired by popular Disney and Pixar films.
San Fransokyo Street, inspired by Big Hero 6, will be a lively onboard district, while Moana-themed Wayfinder Bay offers a peaceful retreat. Families can also make a splash at a Toy Story-themed water play area designed for younger cruisers.
Formerly Global Dream, the 208,000-gross-ton vessel was acquired by Disney Cruise Line in November 2022 and reimagined into Disney Adventure.
Her maiden voyage is set for 15th December 2025, and she will homeport in Singapore for a minimum of five years, marking a major expansion for Disney Cruise Line into the Asian market in partnership with the Singapore Tourism Board.
“The uniquely Disney experiences on board will inspire families to reconnect, recharge, and make unforgettable memories that they’ll cherish forever,”
Sharon Siskie, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Disney Cruise Line.
With themed areas, first-ever character experiences, and no shortage of Disney magic, Disney Adventure is set to redefine family cruising in Asia when she takes to the seas in late 2025.
