Crystal Cruises has launched the first-ever Casino de Monte-Carlo at sea aboard the Crystal Symphony.
The unveiling took place during a ribbon-cutting ceremony on the first night of the Chairmen’s Cruise in Venice.
This innovative casino is the result of a partnership with Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer (SBM). The collaboration brings the sophistication of Monte-Carlo’s gaming experience to the high seas.
The Casino de Monte-Carlo will also debut aboard Crystal Serenity on 18th December, sailing from Fort Lauderdale. The gaming experience will eventually feature on all Crystal’s oceangoing ships, excluding expedition vessels.
“We could not be prouder to unveil the first-ever Casino de Monte-Carlo at sea aboard Crystal Symphony this week…
“There was no better choice for a gaming partner than Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer, founded more than 160 years ago and still a global leader in the casino industry. I’ve known the team for many years and, like Crystal, they are fully committed to delivering upscale experiences that cater to the discerning tastes of travellers from around the world. The future is bright for both of our brands.“
Executive Chairman of A&K Travel Group Manfredi Lefebvre
The casino replaces the Bridge Lounges on Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity. It offers slot machines, Blackjack, American Roulette, and Ultimate Texas Hold’em.
The gaming space spans over 1,000 square feet. Crystal Symphony features 29 slot machines and three live tables, while Crystal Serenity will have 32 slot machines and three live tables.
SBM led the design to replicate the elegance of Monte Carlo’s original casino. Guests can also enjoy premium drinks, including specialty cocktails and global wines, as part of the gaming experience.
Crystal responded to feedback from guests who wanted gaming options onboard. The brand sought a partner who could elevate the casino experience.
“After learning how much our guests missed having gaming options onboard, we knew we could maintain the essence of the previous Crystal casino experience while infusing fresh elements into our brand and finding a partner that would ultimately exceed expectations,”
Cristina Levis, CEO of A&K Travel Group.
