Carnival Cruise Line has announced the dates that the fleet will be decked out (pun intended) for Christmas.
Guests are often eager to find out when the Christmas decorations will be added to ships, so that they know whether their winter sailing will be fun and festive.
The full schedule for the Carnival fleet is as follows:
- 24th November– Carnival Conquest, Carnival Radiance
- 25th November – Carnival Breeze, Carnival Horizon, Mardi Gras, Carnival Miracle, Carnival Spirit
- 26th November – Carnival Celebration, Carnival Dream, Carnival Glory, Carnival Panorama, Carnival Vista
- 27th November – Carnival Elation, Carnival Liberty, Carnival Sunrise, Carnival Valor
- 30th November – Carnival Venezia
- 2nd December – Carnival Magic, Carnival Paradise
- 3rd December – Carnival Legend, Carnival Luminosa, Carnival Pride
- 4th December – Carnival Freedom, Carnival Splendor, Carnival Sunshine
The only ship missing from the list is Carnival Jubilee, which is set to launch on her debut sailing for VIPs and dignitaries on 20th December – she will be decorated in time for this date.
Her first official cruise for passengers will then take place on 23rd December.
The reason that the dates are so different for each ship is that it relies on the ship being in port to bring the decorations onboard, along with the professional teams to set them up – the regular crew are too busy looking after you!
The decorations will remain in place until the first date after 1st January 2024 that the ship begins a new itinerary.
The centrepiece for each ship will be the big Christmas tree, which will be placed in the atrium.
