A fight involving several women aboard Carnival Horizon has been captured on video, with the short but explicit clip showing punches being thrown before those allegedly responsible were taken away by ship security.
The video, which has been circulating on TikTok, appears to show a confrontation already in progress on an outdoor deck of the Carnival Cruise Line ship. Several women can be seen involved in the altercation, with at least two appearing to be struck during the brief footage.
The clip is also explicit due to one of the women suffering a wardrobe malfunction during the fight.
Exactly what triggered the incident remains unclear. However, the person who recorded the footage subsequently posted a follow-up providing more details about what he said happened.
According to his account, he later spoke with the women who had been punched. They reportedly told him they did not know why they had been attacked and initially believed the other women were joking around with them before the situation suddenly became physical.

The TikTok user also said the alleged attackers were subsequently led away by Carnival security.
There has been no indication that the altercation resulted in any serious injuries, and it is not clear whether anyone involved faced action from authorities once the cruise ended.
The video appears to have been recorded during Carnival Horizon’s six-night Western Caribbean sailing from Miami, which departed on 20th September 2026 and returned on 26th September. Carnival’s published itinerary for that cruise included visits to Celebration Key, Montego Bay and Grand Cayman.

Why Do Cruise Ship Fights Keep Going Viral?
The latest footage has prompted another round of discussion about disruptive behaviour aboard cruise ships, particularly Carnival vessels.
Several people commenting on the video suggested fights were more common on shorter cruises, with some attributing that perception to passengers potentially drinking more heavily during quick getaways.
However, the person who filmed the Carnival Horizon incident pushed back on that explanation in this case, pointing out that the sailing was a six-day cruise rather than a weekend or three-night getaway.
There is no clear evidence establishing that short cruises are inherently more prone to fights, or that alcohol was a factor in this particular incident.
What is clear is that cruise ship altercations can quickly attract significant attention online. With thousands of passengers carrying smartphones, even a confrontation lasting only seconds can be filmed from multiple angles and spread across social media.
Cruise lines also take physical confrontations seriously because a ship is a confined environment where passengers involved in an incident cannot simply be sent home immediately unless the vessel is in port.
Security officers can intervene, separate those involved and, depending on the circumstances, confine passengers to their staterooms while the ship’s officers decide what further action is necessary.
Carnival’s own Code of Conduct gives the cruise line considerable scope to punish disruptive guests.
The company says behaviour affecting the comfort, enjoyment, safety or wellbeing of other passengers or crew can result in a guest being removed from the ship at their own expense and banned from sailing with Carnival in the future.
Violations can also result in a $500 fine and possible stateroom confinement. Guests may additionally be held responsible for expenses Carnival incurs because of their detention or removal from the ship.
That means passengers involved in a fight could potentially find their holiday ending early and be responsible for arranging and paying for their journey home, as well as being prevented from taking another Carnival cruise.
Carnival has not publicly confirmed what action, if any, was taken against the women seen in the latest Carnival Horizon footage.
Carnival Has Issued Lifetime Bans After Previous Fights
Carnival has demonstrated on several occasions that its warnings about disruptive behaviour can lead to permanent consequences.
In June 2025, a fight aboard Carnival Sunrise was captured in another widely shared video. Multiple passengers became involved in the brawl as crew members and security attempted to stop it, with chairs also appearing to be thrown during the incident.
Carnival subsequently confirmed that those involved would no longer be permitted to sail with the cruise line.
Another major incident occurred during the disembarkation of Carnival Jubilee in Galveston in April 2025. Footage showed a large group of passengers fighting inside the cruise terminal, prompting Carnival to place 24 people on its Do Not Sail list.
The incident also had longer-term consequences for the cruise line’s security arrangements. Carnival president Christine Duffy said in April 2026 that the company had invested more than $10 million in additional port security following the Galveston brawl.
More recently, another confrontation erupted in the debarkation area at PortMiami on 22nd June 2026.
That fight involved two families and resulted in police responding to the terminal. Authorities described the incident as mutual combat, and the parties involved declined to press charges. Carnival nevertheless took its own action, placing 16 people on its Do Not Sail list.
Those incidents underline that criminal charges are not necessarily required for Carnival to impose a sailing ban. The cruise line can take action under its own guest conduct policies regardless of whether police ultimately arrest or prosecute those involved.
It remains unknown whether similarly severe penalties were imposed following the latest Carnival Horizon incident.
For the passengers caught up in the confrontation, however, what appears to have begun as an unexpected encounter on deck quickly turned into another cruise ship fight being watched far beyond the confines of the vessel.
