Disney Cruise Line has revealed the name of the seventh ship to join the fleet – she will be named Disney Adventure.

The name was unveiled at Destination 23, as part of the “A Celebration of Disney Parks, Experiences and Products: Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow” panel.
The ship was formerly known as the Global Dream when it was under construction for Global Cruises, but Disney bought the unfinished ship in 2022. Work only began on transforming the ship in August 2023.
She will be the biggest ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet, with an estimated guest capacity of 6,000 guests – around 50% more than the largest ships currently sailing in the fleet.
Her gross tonnage is estimated at 208,000, which would be enough to break into the top 10 largest cruise ships in the world.
The ship has been earmarked for the Southeast Asia cruise market and will sail from Singapore.
There’s no confirmation yet of when the ship will be ready to sail – previous rumours have suggested late 2025 as the maiden voyage date, though it may slip to 2026.
The news comes hot on the heels of the in-depth reveal of Disney Treasure, the next cruise ship to join the Disney fleet in 2024. She will be the second Wish-class ship in the fleet, joining her sister the Disney Wish.
