A new cruise hack for sneaking alcohol onboard a cruise was shared across social media, meaning it no longer works as cruise staff have caught onto it.
The hack was shared by several different cruise guests across TikTok, which caused a problem as it turns out cruise line crew also have access to social media…
As a result, they now know what to look for and have been filmed catching guests trying the hack.

The hack involved using a razor blade to carefully open a multipack of soda cans without tearing it, and then replacing the cans with alcoholic cans.
The trick could be taken one step further by leaving a couple of soda cans in the middle of the pack and poking out the carry-holes so that it looked like it was just regular soda.
Then, you would use super glue to stick the cardboard box together again, so that it looked like it had never been opened.
But the crew have wisened up to the trick, and the new video shows them opening up multipacks of soda and checking all the cans are inside, before then taping them closed again.
So there’s a lesson here – be careful if you have a good drinks hack, because if you share it too widely on social media, the crew will soon find out about it!
