Imagine soaring above the deep blue sea, feeling the wind in your hair as you take in the panoramic vistas from the ship’s highest point.
Well, that could all become a reality pretty soon! Prepare to embark on the adventure of a lifetime with Princess Cruises’ newest addition – the Sun Princess and her game-changing family activity zone, Park 19.

Fun for all the family
It’s set to be the most engaging family activity zone ever featured on a Princess cruise ship. The brainchild of guest feedback, Park19 is a multi-generational haven designed for thrill-seekers and relaxation lovers alike.
Strategically perched atop decks 19, 20, and 21, the park boasts nine exhilarating activities. Sea Breeze is the showstopper. This first-ever Rollglider aboard a cruise ship is inspired by the dream of hang-gliding but without the risk!
The aerial roller coaster zip line enables seated passengers to be harnessed to an overhead track. Whisking guests high above the ocean at speeds of 11 mph, it offers 60-90 seconds of panoramic views.
Then, scale new heights with Coastal Climb. Ascend through a series of obstacles and slide back down once you’ve feasted your eyes on the glorious views.
Does trekking across unstable bridges, tiptoeing along z-shaped balance beams and climbing cargo nets while harnessed above a deck sound appealing? The Net offers all this and more!
Not to mention Infinite Horizon – with its tilting walls that extend over the side of the ship. It’s a must for the daredevils who love heights.
Take a breather
If you need to relax after all that fun, the Hammock Area is the place to be. A first for Princess, it’s the perfect spot for lounging around and taking five.
Or, you could always refresh yourself in the Splash Zone with its pop jets and beautiful water sculpture.
Sports enthusiasts, you’re covered too! The Recreational Court and Jogging Track offer ping pong, shuffleboard, morning meditation, fitness classes, sports, and a track that boasts fresh open-air vibes. Wow!
From little kids to big kids
And let’s not forget the youngsters. Firefly Park is a family centre located on deck 6, where younger children can enjoy art programmes, themed parties and group games.
Suitable for children between 6 months and 7 years old, parents can drop their kids off or stay and enjoy all of the activities together.
Decks 6 and 7 also feature youth and teen centres. Neon Grove and The Underground promise comfy sofas and game consoles, as well as air hockey, foosball and skeeball for the older kids to enjoy.
The Sun Princess casts off in February 2024 and with her fun and immersive onboard activities, she’s sure to be a hit with families of all ages.
