When you go on a Disney Cruise, you’re bound to meet lots of Disney princesses. Of course, Disney princesses have lots of great characteristics like being smart, funny or brave (some of them are all three), but there is no denying that they’re famously known for being pretty.

Beauty may well be in the eye of the beholder, but in this post, I will be looking at some of the prettiest Disney Princesses and heroines. Let’s take a look at why they’re universally thought of as being so beautiful.

Who Is The Prettiest Disney Princess?

Cinderella is the prettiest Disney Princess. She really sums up what it is to be a Disney princess and has defined the look for many years. She has a perfect figure, a flawlessly pretty face and beautiful clothes. You could say she is the perfect pretty princess.

This post is all about the prettiest Disney princesses. These are the ones with the most beautiful faces and prettiest clothes. I have another post where you’ll find the hottest, sexiest and most curvacious Disney Princesses: 17 Hottest Disney Princesses.

Anna from Frozen

Anna is the younger sister in Disney’s 2013 movie Frozen. She is the quintessential fairytale princess, and a ‘picture of sophisticated grace’ (well, some of the time). She is unflustered and always cheerful but somewhat naive when looking for love. With her big eyes, freckles, plaited pigtails and stunning dresses, Anna is certainly one of the prettiest Disney princesses.

Ariel from The Little Mermaid

Ariel appears in The Little Mermaid animated movie from 1989. She is extremely pretty and looks very elegant in her princess form when she has human feet and legs of her own and wears a stunning turquoise dress. Her most outstanding pretty feature is probably her amazing bright red hair.

Aurora from Sleeping Beauty

You might not know her real name but you’ll have heard of Sleeping Beauty and with a nickname like that she is surely one of the prettiest Disney princesses. Her beauty is legendary and she exudes grace. She is classically pretty with long blond hair, beautiful eyes and stunning dresses as befits a princess.

Belle from Beauty and the Beast

Belle is an obvious choice for one of the most pretty Disney Princesses. She is, of course, the beauty in Beauty and the Beast and has stunning features, doe eyes and an incredible yellow dress. Of course, she is not just a pretty face but is also very intelligent, resourceful, determined and devoted to her family and friends.

Cinderella from Cinderella

No list of pretty Disney princesses would be complete without Cinderella. Arguably the prettiest princess Disney has adapted into film, she looks incredible when going to Prince Charming’s ball in the 1950 animated movie. She has a very pretty face, deep blue eyes and lovely blond hair. To top it all off, she is just so nice.

Princess Elena from Elena of Avalor

The teenage Princess Elena Castillo Flores is not one of the best-known Disney princesses but she is one of the prettiest of all. She has long dark hair, big eyes and a beautiful smile. Not only that, she saved her magical kingdom and now rules as crown princess showing great thoughtfulness, resilience and compassion – all attractive features.

Elsa from Frozen

Elsa is unusual amongst our list of princesses since she has no prince. She doesn’t seem to be interested in love but that doesn’t stop her from looking incredible throughout the two Frozen movies. She is famous for her incredible dresses and amazing long blond hair – whether plaited or unfurled her hair is stunning.

Esmeralda from The Hunchback of Notre Dame

Esmeralda has been ditched as one of the official Disney princesses which must hurt, but this character from the 1996 animated movie The Hunchback of Notre Dame remains one of the prettiest princesses in a Disney movie. She has stunning emerald eyes and musical abilities to match.

Jane Porter from Tarzan

Jane Porter was once considered to be an official Disney Princess but was dumped because her yellow dress was too similar to Belle’s. She doesn’t get much luck, she didn’t even get included in Tarzan II. She is still very prettily drawn though and I think Jane Porter is worthy of a place on my list of the prettiest Disney princesses.

Jasmine from Aladdin

Jasmine appears in the film Aladdin (1992) and, unlike most of the princesses, she is a supporting character rather than taking the lead role. Still, she is the love interest, and the animators went to town making her look irresistible with big brown eyes and a flawlessly pretty face.

Moana from Moana

Here is a Disney princess that doesn’t spend her time in a ballgown or waiting to meet her man. But Moana is one of the prettiest princesses all the same and displays a fearlessness and determination to go with her physical beauty. She has perfect skin and great hair. She looks even better with a garland in her hair.

Mulan from Mulan

Mulan is a pretty Disney princess who appears in the 1998 film Mulan. Despite her gorgeous looks, she is a fearless warrior every bit as strong as the men around her.  Her dark straight hair stands out compared to most of the princesses on this list and she has a perfect figure and pretty face to go with it.

Pocahontas from Pocahontas

Pocahontas is a young princess with beautiful tan skin, long raven-black hair, and twinkling, dark brown eyes. There is no doubt that she is one of the prettiest princesses in a Disney movie. She has a powerful and self-assured demeanour and a love of adventure and the environment that sets her apart from some of the more princessy characters on this list.

Rapunzel from Tangled

Rapunzel is a Disney princess with fair skin, rosy cheeks, big green eyes, long eyelashes and, of course, gorgeous, very, very long hair. In short, she is very pretty with a perfect figure, but she is also vivacious, intelligent, witty, kind, playful, and very adventurous.

Raya from Raya and the Last Dragon

Raya is the newest (thirteenth) of the official Disney princesses and one of the prettiest too. Raya is a pretty young warrior from Southeast Asia. She is of average height with a slender, slightly muscular build, tan skin, long black hair, and dark brown eyes. Raya really does look strikingly beautiful, maybe thanks to having the most up-to-date animation.

Snow White from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

Snow White has been around the longest of all the Disney princesses. She first appeared in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in 1937. She is innocent, kind, gentle, sweet, and cheerful, and according to a magic mirror, she is the fairest one of all. I am not going to argue with that, and she is certainly amongst the prettiest Disney characters.

Tiana from The Princess and the Frog

Tiana is the first African-American princess in Disney’s history and is featured in the movie ‘The Princess and the Frog’. She is also a very pretty princess who looks especially elegant when wearing her stunning green ball gown, tiara, and jewellery.

To Conclude

I think that it’s fair to say that every Disney Princess is pretty. As well as the official Disney Princesses, there are a number of associated heroines that are also included in this list due to their striking beauty.

Of course, beauty is subjective, so when it comes to who is the most beautiful Disney Princess, many people may disagree that Cinderella takes the title. Your opinion may be that another Princess or heroine is more beautiful. Let me know who your favourite Disney Princess is in the comments below.
