There are thousands of Disney characters, especially once you include Disney Pixar and Marvel characters. On a Disney cruise, you’ll have the chance to meet the main ones like Mickey Mouse, Woody and Buzz and lots of Disney Princesses.
But are there any Disney characters with names beginning with K? Well, there are quite a lot, actually! Here’s a list…

Disney Characters That Start With The Letter K
Kaa from The Jungle Book / The Jungle Book (2016)
Kaa is one of the baddies in Disney’s 1967 animated feature film The Jungle Book (and the live-action remake). He is a large, hungry snake that wants to eat Mowgli, the man-cub. Kaa has hypnotic eyes, which he uses to trap unsuspecting prey and lure them into his jaws.
Kago from Tarzan 2: The Legend Begins
Kago and his brother Uto are dimwitted gorillas who are secondary antagonists in Disney’s 2005 animated feature film, Tarzan II. They are Mama Gunda’s grown-up sons and spend much of their time fighting one another.
Kai from Frozen / Frozen II
Kai is a minor character in Disney’s 2013 smash hit film Frozen and its 2019 sequel. Kai is the overseer and steward of Arendelle Castle and acts as a trusted advisor to Elsa. In the second movie, he becomes advisor to Anna once she takes over as the new queen of Arendelle.
Kala from Tarzan / Tarzan 2: The Legend Begins
Kala is a major Disney character beginning with K in the 1999 animated feature film, Tarzan. Kala is a gorilla who acts as an adoptive mother to Tarzan. She is the mate of troop leader Kerchak.
Kamari from The Lion King (2019)
Kamari is a male hyena in the Lion King remake. He is a member of Shenzi’s clan which surrounds Simba and Nala when they venture into the Elephants Graveyard. Simba is saved by his father but Kamari and the other hyenas form an alliance with Scar and plot to take down Mufasa.
Kanga from The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
Kanga is a much-loved Disney character that starts with the letter K and has appeared in numerous movies based around the adventures of Winnie the Pooh. Kanga is a stuffed kangaroo belonging to Christopher Robin. She is mother to Roo and good friends with all the residents of Hundred Acre Wood, especially Tigger.
Karen Beverly from Toy Story 4
Karen Beverly is a minor Disney character beginning with K in Toy Story 4. She is a sentient toy that has been created by Bonnie in first grade. Bonnie used her creativity to build the toy out of a plastic knife, some googly eyes, and a purple jewel flower.
Karen Graves from Monsters University
Karen Graves is a minor character in the Disney/Pixar sequel, Monsters University. Karen was Mike Wazowski’s teacher when he was young. She is a monster that has a pink, slug-like form and twisted brown horns.
Kari McKeen from The Incredibles
Kari McKeen is one of the minor Disney characters beginning with k, appearing in the 2004 Pixar movie The Incredibles. She has a small role as a teenage babysitter who looks after Jack-Jack during the events of the film. You are more likely to know her from the short, Jack-Jack Attack, where she has a major role as the protagonist.
Kata from Brother Bear 2
Kata and Anda are two female moose, in Disney’s 2006 animated feature film, Brother Bear 2. Whilst not initially looking for love, by the end of the movie Kata is Tuke’s mate. She is not one of the most famous Disney characters that start with a K but she definitely deserves not to be forgotten.
Kathy from Finding Nemo/Finding Dory
Kathy is a minor character in the Disney Pixar films Finding Nemo and Finding Dory. She is one of Mr. Ray’s students and is a blue and green spotted fish with buck teeth. She has only one line in the first movie, but it’s an important one: “Oh, my gosh! Nemo’s swimming out to sea!”
Kathy Copter from Cars
Kathy Copter is a minor character in the 2006 Disney animated movie, Cars. Kathy is the ‘eye in the sky’ that provides up-to-date traffic reports for commuters, but really she wants to be a police helicopter and loves a good car chase.
Kekata from Pocahontas
Kekata is the most empathetic, compassionate and wise Disney character that starts with K in the Disney movie Pocahontas. He is the villager’s shaman and a medicine man of his people. Kekata painted bear-like paws on Kocoum’s chest to represent courage and bravery, and he tried to heal a warrior wounded by gunshots.
Ken from Toy Story 3
Ken is one of the toys at Sunnyside Daycare in Toy Story 3. He is second in command to Lotso but is considered to be a weakling and gets teased by the other toys. He is based on the toy from the Barbie franchise.
Ken Masters from Wreck-It Ralph
Ken Masters is not the most obvious Disney character that starts with K since he is originally from the Street Fighter series of games made by Capcom. But he has a small cameo role in the Disney movie, Wreck-It Ralph.
Kenai from Brother Bear / Brother Bear 2
Kenai is the main character in Disney’s 2003 animated feature film Brother Bear and the sequel Brother Bear 2 that came out in 2006. Kenai is actually a human that has been transformed into a bear and he is the third Disney protagonist of Native American descent (he is Inuit).
Kerchak from Tarzan / Tarzan 2: The Legend Begins
Kerchak is one of the main characters in Disney’s 1999 animated feature film, Tarzan. Kerchak is the leader of the gorillas and the mate of Kala. Together they adopt the film’s title character and raise him in the jungle.
Kessie from Winnie the Pooh: Seasons of Giving
Kessie is a bluebird who is the adoptive daughter of Rabbit in the Winnie the Pooh franchise. Kessie initially arrives on screen as an adorable and pretty young chick who gets lost in a snowstorm, but later she is shown to be quite intelligent and is able to outsmart some would-be kidnappers.
Kevin from Up
Kevin is an important female character in Disney-Pixar’s 2009 animated feature film, Up. She is a huge South American bird that Charles Muntz travels to find. Russell named her “Kevin” after they met, believing her to be male.
Khan from Mulan
Khan is the Fa family horse in Disney’s 1998 animated feature film, Mulan. He aids Mulan in the war against the Huns and is very loyal to her. He can’t talk but expresses himself through snorts, whinnies, and body language.
Kiara from The Lion King 2: Simba’s Pride/The Lion Guard
Kiara is a female lion who is the daughter of Simba and Nala and the princess heir of Pride Rock. As a baby, she was presented to the Pride Lands in a traditional royal ceremony at Pride Rock.
King from Cinderella
The King is a supporting character in Disney’s 1950 animated classic, Cinderella. He wants his son Prince Charming to marry so that he can be surrounded by family and grandchildren. He arranges a royal ball in the hope that an eligible young lady will win the prince’s heart.
King Agnarr from Frozen / Frozen II
King Agnarr briefly appears in Disney’s 2013 animated feature film Frozen and its 2019 sequel. He was the king of Arendelle and the father of the two main characters Elsa and Anna. He is shown to have died when his ship was caught in a storm.
King Candy from Wreck-It Ralph
King Candy (real name Turbo) is the main villain of Disney’s 2012 animated feature film, Wreck-It Ralph. Sad that his own popularity in the game TurboTime is diminishing, he game jumps and declares himself the ruler of Sugar Rush, a kart-racing video game set in a candy-themed world.
King Eidilleg from The Black Cauldron
King Eidilleg is the king of Fair Folk in Disney’s 1985 animated feature film, The Black Cauldron. He is a kind ruler, and always welcoming to guests, even though he asks Doli to construct a system to keep humans out of his kingdom.
King Fergus from Brave
King Fergus appears in the 2012 Disney/Pixar animated feature film, Brave. He lives in the kingdom of DunBroch in the Scottish Highlands with his family and Queen Elinor. He is the father of Merida, and three young triplet sons, Harris, Hubert, and Hamish.
King Hubert from Sleeping Beauty
King Hubert is another Disney character starting with K, he appears in the 1959 feature film Sleeping Beauty. He is the father of Prince Phillip and is friends with King Stefan. King Hubert is a jovial character despite not knowing the whereabouts of his queen.
King James from Pocahontas II: Journey to a New World
King James I is a character that features in Pocahontas II: Journey to a New World. He is partially based on the historical figure of the same name, King James I, ruler of England, Scotland (as James VI), and Ireland.
King Kashekim Nedakh from Atlantis: The Lost Empire
Kashekim Nedakh is the ruler of the lost continent of Atlantis in Atlantis: The Lost Empire. He is king when the kingdom is at the height of its power but his arrogance eventually leads to the Great Flood that sinks the city.
King Louie from The Jungle Book
King Louie is an orangutan in Walt Disney’s 1967 animated musical film The Jungle Book. He leads other jungle primates who want to become more human by learning about fire from Mowgli. King Louie is an original character not featured in Rudyard Kipling’s book and is best known for singing “I Wanna Be Like You”.
King of Hearts from Alice In Wonderland
The King of Hearts is the small and meek husband of the Queen of Hearts from Disney’s 1951 feature film Alice in Wonderland. He is one of the few people that can get the queen to change her mind and manages to change Alice’s beheading to a trial.
King Richard from Robin Hood
King Richard is a minor Disney character beginning with K in the 1973 animated feature Robin Hood. King Richard is the ruler of England and is seen as an ideal king who is kind, fair, and considerate of his subjects in contrast to his greedy brother Prince John.
King Runeard from Frozen II
King Runeard is featured in Disney’s 2019 animated sequel, Frozen II. Through flashbacks, we learn that he was the ruler of Arendelle and the father of King Agnarr. Runeard was revered as a noble leader, but, we learn that he was a ruthless tyrant who attempted to destroy the Northuldra.
King Stefan from Sleeping Beauty
King Stefan is a minor character in Disney’s 1959 animated feature film Sleeping Beauty. He is married to Queen Leah and together they long to have a child. Eventually, they are blessed with the birth of Princess Aurora.

King Triton from The Little Mermaid
King Triton (also known as the Sea King) is the ruler of Atlantica, an undersea kingdom inhabited by merpeople in Disney’s 1989 animated feature film, The Little Mermaid. He wields the all-powerful trident, which grants him control over the seas. He has seven daughters, one of whom is Ariel.
Kion from The Lion Guard
Kion is the son of Simba and Nala and the younger brother of Kiara. As the second-born cub of the royal family, he finds his role as leader of the Lion Guard. This is traditionally a group of lions that defends the Pride Lands, but Kion recruits a motley crew of different creatures including a cheetah and hippo.
Kirby from Chicken Little
Kirby is a small alien with three eyes that appears in Disney’s 2005 animated feature film, Chicken Little. The other aliens believe that he has been kidnapped by Chicken Little so begin an invasion of Earth to rescue him.
KnowsMore from Ralph Breaks the Internet
KnowsMore is a supporting character in Disney’s 2018 animated feature film, Ralph Breaks the Internet. He is a know-it-all that powers a search engine of the same name. Like a real search engine, KnowsMore has functions like search history and autofill that allows him to attempt to finish people’s sentences.
Kocoum from Pocahontas
Kocoum is a strong warrior in Disney’s 1995 animated film, Pocahontas. He is a Native American warrior who was supposed to marry Pocahontas and become the next Powhatan Chief. Kocoum is usually kind and courageous but he is overcome by jealousy and tries to kill John Smith when he sees that Pocahontas loves him.
Koda from Brother Bear / Brother Bear 2
Koda is a male bear that is one of a few Disney characters that start with K in the 2003 animated feature film Brother Bear and the 2006 sequel Brother Bear 2. Koda was separated from his mother due to an attack by human hunters and becomes friends with Kenai (unaware that he’s a human transformed into a bear).
Kohut from Wreck-It Ralph
Corporal Kohut is a Disney character beginning with K in Wreck-It Ralph. He is a marine from the game Hero’s Duty which is one of the video games in Litwak’s Arcade. Ralph enters this game in order to prove that he’s more than just a “bad guy”.
Kori Tubowitz from Cars
Kori Turbowitz is a supporting character in the 2006 Disney movie Cars. She is a roving reporter who follows the racing world and likes to be first at the scene for every major breaking news story.
Kovu from The Lion King 2: Simba’s Pride
Kovu features in the 1998 straight-to-video film The Lion King II: Simba’s Pride. He is the son of Zira, who is a close follower of Scar. Scar hand-picked Kovu to be his successor and he was expected to one day avenge Scar by killing Simba and usurping the throne. But Kovu chose a different path.
Krebbs from The Rescuers Down Under
Krebbs is a Disney character name that starts with K who appears in the 1990 animated adventure film The Rescuers Down Under. He is an old and grumpy koala who was captured by Percival C. McLeach.
Kristoff from Frozen / Frozen II
Kristoff Bjorgman is a major character in Disney megahit Frozen, and its 2019 sequel. He is an outdoorsman who reluctantly agrees to help Anna find her sister. By the end of the first film, he has fallen in love with Anna, and in the second movie, he repeatedly tries to work up the courage to propose to her.
Kron from Dinosaur
Kron is one of the less well-known Disney characters that start with K. He is a leader of the herd and one of the bad guys in Disney’s 2000 CGI film Dinosaur. He is a stubborn bully who believes in the survival of the fittest.
Kronk from The Emperor’s New Groove / Kronk’s New Groove
Kronk is a character in Disney’s 2000 animated feature film The Emperor’s New Groove, and the main protagonist of 2005’s Kronk’s New Groove. Kronk serves as Yzma’s hapless henchman and plays a part in her schemes to overthrow Emperor Kuzco. He is dim-witted but has a good heart.
Krushauer from Incredibles 2
Krushauer is a character who appears in Disney/Pixar’s 2018 animated film, Incredibles 2. He has telekinetic powers that mean he can crush things without touching them but he is unable to ‘crush’ them. He is one of a group of second-rate Supers who long to become superheroes.
Kuzco from The Emperor’s New Groove / Kronk’s New Groove
Emperor Kuzco is the leading character of Disney’s 2000 animated feature film, The Emperor’s New Groove. He has a comically arrogant and narcissistic personality and is the ruler of the Kuzconian Empire in Peru. His actions get him transformed into a talking llama and Kuzco slowly begins to realise the error of his ways.
